This one-of-a-kind project involved transforming a basement room within this beautiful Brompton Square Townhouse into a gentlemen’s music listening and games room. With ribbed walnut paneling, a newly added art-deco plaster ceiling, a private minibar, and the main wall adorned by original artwork commissioned from world-renowned photographer Peter Lik. Studio-grade sound-absorbing panels, upholstered in a burgundy-colored baby mohair velvet minimize reverberation. A bespoke walnut bookcase for a collection of 2000 vinyls and an integrated secret door leading to the adjacent personal fitness room and home cinema were incorporated. A sophisticated Lutron lighting design with individual scenes for every mood, bespoke furniture, a silk rug, and the custom-designed game table complete the interior of this extraordinary room.
